Who We Are
Springwood Builders is located in Lafayette. We've been remodeling homes in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties for over 20 years. Karam Khalsa, general contractor and owner of Springwood Builders, is a native of the East Bay.
We employ a core crew of skilled employees experienced in all phases of remodeling construction. We also work with professionals whose standards of quality and performance meet our own, including a kitchen and bath designer, engineer, architects, and licensed subcontractors.
We are committed to creating high-quality energy-efficient living spaces with fine finishes and custom detail work. We believe this commitment, along with the skills we offer, provides the best value for your remodeling investment. We prefer to use quality, sustainably produced, durable, and health-conscious building materials appropriate to the project.
As a certified Green Building Professional, a member of Build It Green and the California Building Performance Contractors Association, Karam continually updates Springwood Builders' practices with proven new design principles for healthier, energy-efficient, and more environmentally responsible remodeling.
